Front reconditioned truck differential

From R48,500

Starting price for a reconditioned / exchange unit. Final quote may vary by condition, ratio, and stock availability.

Overview

The FUSO Front is a front differential reconditioned by Gearbox Centre for Fuso Canter, Fighter, and Super Great commercial trucks. Every diff is fully stripped, inspected, and rebuilt with new bearings and seals; the crown wheel and pinion are checked for backlash and scoring before release from our RMI Approved workshop in Centurion, Gauteng. Starting prices from R48,500. Fleet operators choose Gearbox Centre for documented rebuilds, typically 24-48 hour turnaround on standard jobs, nationwide delivery or collection, and a 12-month warranty (terms apply). Send a diff-tag photo via WhatsApp or GearBot if you need identification before strip-and-quote.

Common issues we see

Reconditioning

Gearbox Centre follows a documented strip, clean, measure, and rebuild process. Worn bearings and seals are replaced as required; the crown wheel, pinion, and carrier are inspected against service limits. Units are reassembled with correct preload and backlash before dispatch.

Warranty covers parts and workmanship when correct oil specification, fill level, and installation procedures are followed. Misapplication or incorrect lubrication can void cover.

Identification

Locate the tag on the differential housing for model, ratio, and oil data. Share a clear photo with Gearbox Centre for confirmation before you commit to exchange or strip-and-quote.

Maintenance

Oil change: Follow OEM interval for duty cycle β€” typically 60,000 to 100,000 km for highway use

Break-in: Avoid extreme loads for the first 1,000 km after installation.
