SCANIA Gearboxes

Scania gearboxes — including GRS Opticruise and related range-change units — are a regular part of Gearbox Centre's heavy-fleet reconditioning work in South Africa. We strip, inspect, and rebuild these transmissions with attention to range/splitter wear, bearing condition, and correct oil specification so long-haul and distribution trucks return to service with predictable shift quality. Operators send Scania boxes to our RMI Approved Centurion workshop for exchange or strip-and-quote depending on stock and hard-part condition. Reconditioned units carry our 12-month warranty (terms apply), with typical turnaround of 24–48 hours on standard rebuilds. Nationwide delivery is available.
