UD Gearboxes

UD Trucks gearboxes (including legacy Nissan Diesel patterns and Chinese-origin 9JS units common on local fleets) cover everything from light Condor five-speeds through CW-series nine-speeds and heavier Quon/Quester applications. We recondition UD manuals and related transmissions with a full strip, inspection, and rebuild using parts matched to the duty cycle — highway, distribution, or tipper work — so the finished unit is ready for South African road conditions. Popular UD 80/90/95 and 9JS patterns move quickly through our workshop; we advise exchange when stock allows so vehicles are not waiting on a slow strip. Each reconditioned UD gearbox carries our 12-month warranty (terms apply), with standard rebuilds typically completed in 24–48 hours.
